I’m Renee Rothschild—part event strategist, part catering expert, part creative director, and part ringmaster of beautiful chaos.

For more than 25 years, I’ve been creating unforgettable celebrations where exceptional food, seamless hospitality, and thoughtful details come together to create experiences guests genuinely remember.

My journey began in Springfield, Illinois, where I founded Olives Catering Company and built a reputation for elevated cuisine, stylish events, and service that made every guest feel genuinely cared for. Due to my husband's job transfer, I eventually sold Olives Catering, closing one meaningful chapter and opening the door to new opportunities and adventures.

Then came the adventure years: Honolulu, Savannah, and Washington, D.C. Each destination brought new inspiration, fresh perspectives, and opportunities to produce events for foreign dignitaries, ambassadors, Fortune 500 companies, and even two former U.S. presidents. From elegant galas and luxury weddings to high-profile receptions and large-scale corporate events, I learned how to blend creativity, precision, and impeccable execution under any level of pressure.

Eventually, home called my husband and I back to Springfield, where I founded Renee Rothschild Catering & Events—bringing with me the experience, perspective, and elevated standards developed in some of the country's most dynamic hospitality markets.

Today, I am proud to serve as the exclusive caterer to the historic Pasfield House, one of Springfield's most treasured venues. We are honored to cater both on-property and off-property, bringing the same exceptional cuisine, polished service, and meticulous attention to detail wherever your celebration takes us.
